Muhammad Ali has been reported in “fair condition” after a health scare, 97.9 The Beat reports.
The legendary boxer is allegedly being treated for a respiratory issue at Phoenix Hospital, according to family spokesman Bob Gunnell.
In a statement released Thursday, Gunnell explained:
“He is being treated by his team of doctors and is in fair condition. A brief hospital stay is expected. At this time, the Muhammad Ali family respectfully requests privacy.”
Ali, who is no stranger to hospitalization, has been transparent about his fight with Parkinson’s disease,
ESPN reports the famed boxer has been in and out of the hospital the last few years–including a couple stints between late 2014 and early 2015 with a UTI.
We are sure the champ will be victorious in this health battle.
