If we were Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade, we would spend our free time in between the NBA season and shooting “Being Mary Jane” on vacation. Instead, Mr. and Mrs. Wade have just signed up for a new project.
The couple will star in a new HGTV series where they will flip houses in Florida. Here are the details of the untitled new series via press release obtained by NBC.
“Actress Gabrielle Union and Miami Heat player Dwyane Wade are beginning a passion project — flipping homes. Follow along as they renovate, revitalize and resell a home in a suburban Florida neighborhood.”
The basketball star confirmed a press link announcing the show by joking calling it his “summer workout“.
Ironically, Gabrielle spoke the show into existence back in 2014 when asked if she and Dwyane would ever get into reality TV.
“The kind of things that we would want to do for reality TV are the kinds of things that get shows canceled quickly,” she began.
“Like travel shows or a cooking show – nothing that anyone would want to see us doing. A cuddle show, where we just cuddle and watch HGTV. That would be like our saucy reality show.”
