There is so much genuine emotion in this clip of Michelle Obama visiting the young gardeners at Watkins Elementary School, we’re misty eyed right now. So good.

Since the FLOTUS started the White House Kitchen Garden seven years ago, under her Let’s Move! initiative, she’s encouraged young people to grow their own fruits and vegetables in their communities to promote eating healthy.

Michelle surprised the students at Watkins Elementary School and John Burroughs Elementary School. She also paid Eriks Brolis and Linda Bilsens, who started a local garden in 2013 in Brookland, DC, a visit to show her support of their community garden.

At one point, a bright-eyed little girl runs up to Michelle and the First lady embraces her with open arms. We totally would have done the same thing.

In other Obama news, the first couple announced they’ll be attending this years SXSW festival.

While the Obama’s stint in the White House is coming to an end, we’re also remember them for these heart-warming moments.
