Katt Williams‘ personal life becomes more tumultuous by the day. He recently made headlines for assaulting a store clerk in Georgia on a Monday (see below) but that Sunday he was allegedly involved in another brawl.
According to the AJC, around 2:30am on Sunday, February 28, Salena Boston and her four friends saw Katt walking down West Peachtree St. in Atlanta. They approached the comedian and asked for photo and he obliged. When one of the women began filming Katt he allegedly became irate.
Boston claims Katt punched her and held a gun to her head. Supposedly Katt was traveling with an entourage of 15 who inserted themselves into the situation and held guns at the women’s heads until they gave up their cell phones.
When police arrived at the scene, Katt told a different story. According to him, the women didn’t have consent from Katt for photos or videos. They continued to “harass” the actor and he claims one of the women snatched a chain from around his neck. At that time his security tried to intervene in the situation and reportedly took out a gun but it wasn’t pointed at the women, it was instead placed on the ground.
Katt was briefly handcuffed but due to both parties conflicting stories, he was not arrested. The women have since obtained legal representation. “The police should have conducted a thorough investigation,” Hale said as four of the five women stood behind her. “They should have retrieved these young ladies’ cellphones at the very least” said the victim’s lawyer, Loletha Hale.
Atlanta police Sgt. Warren Pickard said an investigation into the women’s claims is on going. “Based on the information they had in real time and the totality of the circumstances, the officer used their discretion to not arrest anyone on the scene” he began.
“I always caution victims not to get frustrated in instances where an immediate arrest is not made. We will answer further questions related to the investigation at the appropriate time” added Pickard.

On Monday, February 29, comedian and actor Katt Williams was arrested at a pool supply store in Gainesville, GA. The “Scary Movie” star got into an argument with a sales clerk then he threw a pair of goggles at him as well as punched him in the face.
Sgt. Kevin Holbrook said that when police arrived, the 44-year-old was “lying on the ground with his hands behind his back as though he was ready to go to jail.”
The actual cause of the altercation is unclear. When police asked Katt what happened, he reportedly told officers to ask the sales clerk.
Williams was detained and charged with misdemeanor battery. He’s currently out on $5,000 bail.
Prior to this latest incident, Katt was arrested in 2014 with infamous music executive Suge Knight. The pair were charged with felony robbery for stealing the camera of a Beverly Hills photographer, Leslie Redden.
Katt and Suge have yet to stand trial in that case but according to TMZ, they could face up to seven years in prison if convicted.
The Cincinnati, Ohio native has one biological son named Micah and seven adoptive children. With the pool supply store incident, Katt has been arrested at least ten times in the past ten years.
