Hacker group Anonymous has turned their attention to ISIS following the Paris attacks that occurred last Friday. They say the take-down will be their “biggest operation” to date, according to TIME. The group has claimed responsibility for the deaths of 127 people in a coordinated set of terrorist attacks last week.

“Expect massive cyber attacks. War is declared. Get prepared,” says the masked man in French. “Anonymous from all over the world will hunt you down. You should know that we will find you and we will not let you go. We will launch the biggest operation ever against you.”
Anonymous has threatened to take down other groups that have endangered freedom in the past, such as Occupy Wall Street, the Charlie Hebdo shootings, and the Ku Klux Klan. Check the Anonymous video up top (FYI: it’s in French).
Meanwhile, 16 US states including Alabama, Arkansas, Connecticut, Maine and Texas are trying to prevent Syrian refugees from entering their lands, despite the fact that state governments don’t have the legal authority to do so. State governments are now trying to limit access for immigrants because investigations have found that terrorists took advantage of the immigration wave from the Syrian refugee crisis to travel throughout Europe (namely France and Greece) to plant this weekend’s attack.
However, President Obama has already come out making a strong statement saying that he will keep US borders open for the refugees in keeping with the nation’s history of accepting immigrants in need. His administration has already pledged to accept approximately 10,000 Syrian refugees in the next year, and has asserted that they should be allowed to settle all across the country. His strategy is to instead focus energy on using airstrikes, training and arming forces and banding together with other countries that share America’s interest in toppling ISIS.
The mastermind behind the attack has been named as Abelhamid Abaaoud, a 27-year-old Belgian who battled with ISIS in Syria and who was also a suspect in foiled terror attack on Belgium from January. President Francois Hollande announced that the attack was coordinated in Syria and Belgium as he waged war on behalf of the country. Hollande has also announced that he’ll work with Obama and Russian President Vladimir Putin to take down ISIS together.
