Michael B. Jordan looks quite delicious in the movie trailer for Creed, which dropped today. In case you’re not familiar with the classic Rocky films, which starred Sylvester Stallone, Creed is a spinoff of that series. Jordan will play the son of Apollo Creed, who was Rocky’s foe-turned-friend who ended up dying in the ring after a battle with Ivan Drago, a scary Russian juggernaut (this was back in the 80s when the Cold War was still going on).
Sylvester Stallone will reprise his role as Rocky and he will train and mentor Adonis Creed on his journey toward greatness. Creed is set for release in November and also stars Phylicia Rashad, and Tessa Thompson.
