The Barbz should probably hold off on getting a wedding gift for Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill, because apparently they are not engaged and he wants the world to know it.
Shocking, we know. (Rolls eyes.)
Rumors have been flying for weeks that Nicki and Meek would jump the broom, but Meek recently told Fader that they’re not ready to take that leap…yet.
“It’s definitely real, but it ain’t really time to get married yet,” he said. “We’re still learning each other, feeling each other out.”
Well, there you have it! Up until now, neither Nicki nor Meek had spoken on any speculation about their prospective nuptials. It’s not like Nicki didn’t help churn the rumor mill, though! She got gossip flowing when she popped up on Instagram with a huge rock on her left ring finger, blinding all of her followers.
But despite Nicki teasing her fans, no matter how it may it look, Meek reiterated, “I ain’t engaged.”
Well, damn, you could have just said a simple “no comment.”
Fellow rapper T.I., however, isn’t buying Meek’s story.
“You never asked her, ‘Will you be my girlfriend?’ But she is your girlfriend,” he said. “You may not have asked her, ‘Will you marry me?’ But you are engaged.”
We’ll see how long this lasts…
