1. H&M Boosts Hiring Through US Recruiting Campaign

Looking for work? Got a passion for fashion? This Swedish clothing retail giant just might have the perfect gig for you. H&M is on a hiring kick, now that they’re opening 61 new stores to keep up with their dramatic growth in the US. We hear they’re giving out up to five weeks of vacation! 2. Feds Estimate $9M In Damage From Baltimore Riots 

Homeowners and small businesses in Baltimore are feeling the pain. About 280 businesses are now looking at $8,927,000 in damages while two homes have an estimated $60,000 worth of repairs to do as a result of the unrest from Freddie Gray’s death. Simultaneously, the lawyers of the six officers have outlined their defense and are accusing State Attorney Marilyn Mosby of having a conflict of interest in ruling on the case. 3. Tamir Rice Has Finally Been Cremated, Investigation Coming To An End

After six months of investigation around his death at the hands of a Cleveland police officer, Tamir Rice’s body has finally been cremated. The decision came after it was declared that medical examinations were no longer necessary. The sheriff’s department says the investigation is close to the end, but have yet to release more details. 4. Protestors Arrested After Marching For Tony Robinson

In the wake of the non-indictment of a Madison, WI police officer for murdering Tony Robinson, Jr., at least two dozen protesters were arrested for marching in the streets. In response to DA Ismael Ozanne’s decision, Robinson’s mother, Andrea Irwin is now leading a civil suit. Even Madison’s Police Chief, Michael C. Koval was outspoken about the decision, releasing a statement admitting to his department’s racist activity and need for reform. 5. A Fifth Arrest Made In The Shooting Deaths of Two Mississippi Police

Abram Wade “Pete” Franklin made his first appearance in court yesterday as a suspect in the murders of Officers Benjamin Deen and Liquori Tate. The shooting took place on Saturday night during a traffic stop for speeding. Read the full story here at CNN.
