Fans of Orange Is The New Black got an eyeful this this week, not only from Netflix, but from one of the show’s biggest stars.
Everyone is waiting, and not-so-patiently, until the season 3 debut of OITNB to find out what exactly happened to Vee. Last we saw of her, homegirl was laid out in the road after Rosa hit her with the prison van during her escape from Litchfield. She tasted sweet freedom for a moment, but then this happened:
Some people believe they spied Vee in the background of a shot from the season 3 trailer, but looks can be deceiving. Remember she had a doppelgänger, which made a very brief appearance, running around in the prison in season 2.
With her fate still up in the air, Netflix revealed that we may not be getting any answers about Vee right away. Or at least that’s the way it seems in a new sneak peek from season 3, where Poussey and Crazy Eyes are going at it about what really happened to her.
Poussey isn’t so sure that Vee survived the hit-and-run, but Crazy Eyes refuses to believe that she’s dead.

While they’re busy arguing, get this: Laverene Cox is baring it all! Just as she was being named one of Time’s Most Influential People this year, the Orange Is The New Black star also posed nude for the May issue of Allure magazine.
She didn’t make the decision lightly. In fact, she turned down the offer twice, but she eventually decided to take the opportunity to represent for Black women and the transgender community. She explained to Allure:
“I said no initially, thought about it, and said no again. But I’m a black transgender woman. I felt this could be really powerful for the communities that I represent. Black women are not often told that we’re beautiful unless we align with certain standards. Trans women certainly are not told we’re beautiful. Seeing a black transgender woman embracing and loving everything about her body might be inspiring for some folks. There’s a beauty in the things we think are imperfect. It sounds very cliché, but its true.”
While she may have had some apprehension about stripping down for the camera, Cox shared that everyone put her at ease once she got on the set.
