Pharrell seems to be building a pretty huge and fast-growing fashion empire. Some of world’s biggest fashion houses (Comme des Garçons, Adidas, Uniqlo and Louis Vuitton) have all called upon his design talents. Recently, Pharrell was enlisted to collaborate on an accessories collection with Moynat, a French luxury leather goods brand that is part of the LVMH family.

To pay tribute to Moynat’s heritage as a travel trunk purveyor, Creative Director Ramesh Nair and Pharrell created a range of bags in the shapes of vintage trains, according to WWD.

The limited-edition bags are made from unusual materials (duh) and will be priced as true collectors items: a whooping $12,830 for the resin version and mere $4,105 for the wood. In addition, smaller items (like silk scarves and leather pouches with train motifs) will be available to supplement the collection. They’ll be sold at Colette in Paris during Fashion Week, as well as in Moynat boutiques in Paris and London.

I am actually in the business of using my handbags (as is most of the world) so I am not sure how this will turn out. But here’s to maybe a train conductor hat to be sold in the future?! I think I want one. You?
