Keyshia Cole Responds To Arrest
Keyshia Cole Responds To Arrest On Instagram (We Think)…
It came as a surprise to us all when it was reported that Keyshia Cole was arrested for assaulting a female–Sabrina Mercadel–she found in Cash Money boss man Birdman’s house at 5am. We’re not sure if we’re more taken aback by news that Cole was hauled off to jail on a $46,000 bond or that she was dating Birdman. When did that happen?
According to reports, Keyshia was booked on misdemeanor battery after she allegedly attacked Mercadel, a Cash Money employee of more than 10 years. Mercadel was one of four people in the home at the time. Keyshia allegedly saw her walking out of the bathroom and went berserk. Sources claim she yelled, “What are you doing with my man?! The victim insists that she and Birdman are just friends.
Keyshia has yet to release an official response, but she did write on Instagram “Man love is a muthaf*cka” and this message that has since been deleted:
“And finally you realize…you cant force it to be something. You can’t force consistency, loyalty or even honesty… You can’t force them to keep their word or to communicate, or to realize something special is in front of them.”
Keyshia can’t seem to catch a break in the relationship department. Her marriage to NBA player Boobie Gibson ended after he cheated on her. In lighter news, Keyshia is coming back to reality TV with a show on BET. She’s also gearing up for the release of forthcoming album “Point Of No Return” in-stores October 7.
