It looks like Jennifer Hudson didn’t pull a Kerry Washington on us. According to reports, she and longtime fiancée David Otunga are still engaged.
Last week, rumors that the lovebirds secretly tied the knot began floating around after David was photographed with what looked to be a wedding band. Well, the wrestler and his soon-to-be wife have responded to the reports and they insist that no one has said “I do” yet.

“That’s a secret I don’t know nothing about,” J-Hud said during a recent interview with Hot 97′s Angie Martinez. “The funny thing is people are like, ‘When are you getting married?’ then the next day, ‘You’re already married?’ Then, ‘How’s your husband?’ It’s like honey ya’ll have married us off anyway, so whats the difference?”
She went on to say that the ring David wore to her Hollywood Walk Of Fame ceremony was just an engagement band.
“David is a little different,” she explained. “He wanted to have an engagement ring too. I got him a ring for his birthday gift. He wanted to have his own ring.[He said] ‘Everyone knows you’re taken but no one knows I’m taken,’ and so that’s where his ring came from.”
David popped the question to the Black Nativity actress on her 27th birthday in 2008. The following year, they welcomed their first child, a boy named David Daniel Otunga, Jr.
