CeeLo Green Charged With Giving Woman Ecstasy Before Sex

CeeLo Green is facing up to four years in prison after being charged Monday with giving a woman ecstasy.

According to reports, the singer was hit with one felony count of “furnishing a controlled substance” to an unidentified 33-year-old woman, whom he later engaged in sexual activity with, in July 2012.

Sources say all sexual assault charges were dropped due to lack of sufficient evidence.

As we reported earlier, the woman told police she had dinner with the “Forget You” singer, he slipped something in her drink, and she later woke up in a Los Angeles hotel room naked and with no recollection of how she got there.

CeeLo, whose real name is Thomas DeCarlo Callaway, plead not guilty to all charges. His bail was posted at $30,000.

The 38-year-old entertainer is best know for his music with Gnarls Barkley and as a judge on NBC’s “The Voice.”
