The Braxton sisters are still helping Tamar cope with Vince's illness, but in the midst of this situation, Tamar reveals that she's been selected to perform at the Soul Train Awards while Trina, Towanda and Traci have been asked to present. At first, Tamar keeps her performance a secret from her sisters, but later tells them truth and reveals to them that this happened before Vince got sick. Tamar meets with a vocal coach who scolds her about her bad singing habits, and tries to whip her into shape for the upcoming performance.
During last week's episode of "Braxton Family Values", the public got an inside look at the girls and their relationship problems. While some took a turn for the worse (Trina and Gabe) other's showed just how much they loved each other (Tamar and Vince). On this week's episode, we saw just how strong their marriage bond was.

Marriage problems. Those two words pretty much sum up last night's entire episode of "Braxton Family Values". Ironically, Tamar and Vince head to Chicago to speak at a relationship seminar, but argue the whole way there. They both get on each other's nerves as Vince tells Tamar that they're moving in a few weeks which leaves Tamar in a frenzy with no time to plan...well..anything. Vince tells Tamar to let him handle everything and not to worry about it. "He's in the dog house," Tamar tells cameras.
