At an after school program at Universal Samuel Daroff Charter School, a 7-year-old student alerted a teacher after he’d found a gun in his bag. Investigations are being conducted with the boy and his family. The gun was a loaded .38 caliber!

2. Michelle Obama Gets Slammed By GOP Member For Attending Funeral
Michelle Obama announced she would attend the slain Chicago teen–Hadiya Pendleton’s funeral, but not everyone is pleased with this news. Former Tea Party congressman, Joe Walsh decided to hop on Twitter and slam the FLOTUS for her attendance, asking if the other 553 deaths of Black teens in Chicago deserved her presence. This isn’t Walsh’s first time being reckless with his opinion.

4. Jesse Jackson Jr. Signs A Plea Deal
Jesse Jackson Jr. has recently signed a plea deal where he’s plead guilty and may face jail time. A judge has yet to be assigned to his case, but Jackson owes the government hundreds of thousands of dollars for things like a $40,000 Rolex watch, travel expenses for a woman he described as a “social acquaintance” and furniture for his home.
