Nicki Minaj Recites ‘Still I Rise’

Nicki Minaj recited Maya Angelou’s iconic ‘Still I Rise’ poem to the attendees of A&E’s ‘Shining A Light’ concert. The performance is to raise awareness around racial progress in America.
It was a different presentation for the eccentric rapper, who is constantly switching voices and personas for a dolled up girl empowered act.
But the YMCMB Queen was adorned in gold and classily read the piece that means so much to black women all over the world.
