The first lady is out here straight flexin.’ On Tuesday, she gave an impassioned speech at London’s Mulberry School for Girls, a school with primarily low-income students, to promote global education equality for girls as part of her “Let Girls Learn” campaign. Today, she’s in Italy representing America for the Milan Expo, a world’s fair that is currently centered on global food security. Sad, Sad News: Baltimore Teen Brutally Killed In Home Robbery

This story was almost too sad for me to share with you, but I’m going to do it anyway because this victim deserves to be known and prayed for. Arnesha Bowers, a 16-year-old teen from Baltimore, was raped, strangled and set on fire earlier this month. Alleged Blood gang members Adonay Dixon, 23, and John Childs, 20 have been arrested and charged for the crimes committed against Bowers. Dixon and Childs targeted Bowers’ home because they believed her grandmother was wealthy. Dixon and Childs only walked away with $40, an iPad and a laptop after the murder, they were promptly caught by police. Bowers had just finished taking the SATs and was looking at colleges for her undergraduate career. Read the story at Madame Noire.
