First Lady Michelle Obama is now the latest public figure to have her personal financial records leaked online by a hacking website.
According to the Associated Press, the undefined website posted Mrs. Obama’s credit report, social security number, phone number and credit card information. She’s now among 16 other A-list entertainers and politicians — including Beyonce, Jay-Z, Kim Kardashian, Donald Trump and Vice President Joe Biden — to have their detailed personal and financial information disclosed.

TMZ reports that a message on the site, titled “The Secret Files, may reveal the motive behind the crime. “Blame your husband, we still love you, Michelle,” it reads.
President Barack Obama responded to the security breach in a recent interview with ABC News. “We should not be surprised that if you’ve got hackers that want to dig in and devote a lot of resources, that they can access this information,” he said. “Again, not sure how accurate but … you’ve got web sites out there that tell people’s credit card info. That’s how sophisticated they are.”
The FBI is currently investigating the case, although the organization has not been able to confirm the accuracy of the information.
