Last night on “R&B Divas,” Nicci and her daughter Brandy, traveled to New York City for the Full Figured Fashion Week. It was time for Nicci to debut her new fashion line, “Curvato,” and since Brandy didn’t have a job yet, this was the best opportunity to teach her about responsibility and business, and even gain some experience. Nicci was fearful, the show wouldn’t be together in time.

The first thing on the new designer’s agenda was the model fitting. She noticed that they weren’t as full figured as she wanted them to be. Despite the setback, Nicci was very impressed with her daughter because Brandi really stepped up at the fitting and helped out with the models. Way to go!

Rhonda–creative director for Curvatto–came to visit to go over everything for the fashion show. Aside from the fashion line, Rhonda revealed that she got an email from the club promoter where the girls performed on last week’s episode saying that Syleena was full of drama and rude. Nicci knew that this was bad press, and didn’t like the way that Syleena handled business during her performance but felt torn because Syleena was her good friend.

Since all of the divas officially arrived in New York, they met at the 40/40 Club to have drinks and catch up. Nicci told Syleena about the email from the club promoter, and the ladies didn’t like the fact that Nicci had obviously taken the club promoter’s side. Drama.

After all of that drama, it was finally time for Nicci’s fashion show. Her excitement about the new line was soon cut short when the show started and the opening song was all wrong. However, things worked out in the end and despite that small setback, the show was a success and all of the divas were very proud! The ladies ended their trip to NY with a barbeque at Faith’s mom’s house. Everyone attended including Biggie’s mom, Mrs. Wallace! What a great way to end their New York visit!
