Chrissy and Jimmy, oh how we’ve missed thee! On the first episode of “Chrissy & Mr. Jones,” the newly engaged couple gave us a look into their lives. When we last left Chrissy and Jim, things were looking up for the couple, but now not so much. First off, Chrissy wasn’t excited to look for a wedding dress and as women; we all know that that’s the most exciting part about planning a wedding. In fact, Emily B had to literally drag Chrissy to the bridal store to look for a dress. Chrissy admitted to Emily that she wasn’t ready to walk down the aisle, even though her and Jimmy had been together for about eight years already, and went through two proposals.

Back at the house, Chrissy was annoyed with Jimmy because he wasn’t taking house hunting seriously. They had to move out of their house in a few days, and Jimmy was taking his sweet time deciding on a place to live. When Chrissy tried to get Jimmy to take the situation seriously, he couldn’t help but to make jokes about moving in with his mother (which we all knew wasn’t going to work) and about Chrissy’s superman curls. Chrissy didn’t think Jim’s jokes were very funny and only got more annoyed at his lack of concentration.

Chrissy and Mama Jones seemed to finally be getting along, up until Mama Jones started grilling Chrissy about a grandchild. “I hope he was threatening you about a baby. I’m sorry, I’m just looking for my grand baby!” If Chrissy and Jim don’t hurry and find a place to live, Mama Jones’ plans for a grand baby will have to wait!

Chrissy told her fiancee that he needed anger management. Jim didn’t think he was the one with the problem and that it was just the way other people viewed him.  Chrissy was trying to explain to Jim that his attitude was affecting his business, and that it was hard to find a new manager who didn’t want to slap him. I think anger management might not be a bad idea, wouldn’t you agree?

Two days before it was time to move out, while Chrissy was busy packing , Jim laid on the bed and counted his money. “I’m not helping you with these boxes, that’s what we got Paulina for,” Jim told Chrissy. Eventually, Chrissy had had enough of doing everything on her own. She started crying and told Jimmy, “Do you know what it feels like to take care of this house by myself? And to move out of it by myself? And to move into the next place by myself?” Jim responded: “You should’ve had somebody come help you.”

Wow, really Jim? Instead of being there to try and fix things with Chrissy, he went upstairs and left her by herself to finish packing. It’s clear that these two have to work on a lot of things before they take a walk down the aisle!
