Don’t let anyone lie to you. Working out is hard and when you’re looking for results, there will be pain. That old cliche, “No pain, no gain” is 100% true. You get what you give. I’ve learned over the last few weeks that when I cheat, don’t go all the way in my workouts or just flat out give up on any of the challenges of losing weight, nothing happens. It pretty much erases the work that you’ve put in.

So the lesson I’ve taken with me at the end of this week is to never give up, or as my trainer says, “Don’t tap out.” It’s all about how you get through the initial pain. You have to push yourself (not until you hurt yourself), but until you know you are challenging yourself to become stronger!
