The president and founder of The Brotherhood Organization of A New Destiny Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson went on a woman bashing rant during a recent sermon and told his congregation that allowing women to vote was the “biggest mistake” America made.

Peterson says women are incapable of handling power and never should have been granted the right to vote.

“Look at every place where a women is in control,” said Peterson. “You see nothing but confusion. There’s no good in it at all, none.”

My America is gone, it’s unfortunate but it’s over, and short of God intervening, I don’t see any turnaround,” Peterson says during his incoherent speech.

“One of the primary reasons…is because women are taking over…They’re in high, so-called powerful positions, they’re running companies, they’re making decisions, and not all, not all, not all….[I’m getting] a funny face now…There are some, a few logical women who can make sound decision[s], but most cannot. And the unfortunate thing is they’re in powerful positions…The one thing I know for sure without a doubt [is that] women cannot handle power…It’s not real power anyway. Power that the world give you is not power. It’s all ego-building.”

He goes on to say that we don’t know how to love:

“No woman says, ‘where’s your shame, woman?’ … [Men] allow women to run wild and screw up everything…You walk up to them with a issue, they freak out right away. They go nuts. They get mad. They get upset, just like that. They have no patience because it’s not in their nature. They don’t have love. They don’t have love…I think that one of the greatest mistakes America made was to allow women the opportunity to vote.”

I’m so glad I was not in the audience that day because this woman would have given him the business!!  Did he forget that there was a time when blacks could not vote?? Maybe he also believes black people need to be back on the plantation. I wonder what his mother,if she’s alive thinks about his comments. This man obviously hates himself and women!
