Every week I fall more in love with T.I. and Tiny’s family and this week was a big ol “spaghetti junction of emotion” as Tip would say.
We finally meet Zonnique a.k.a Nique-Nique who is T.I and Tiny’s oldest daughter and also a member of the girl group the OMG Girlz which Tiny manages. We see Tip playing the “daddy role” when he has a talk with Nique-Nique about “tweefing” (Twitter beefing) and her upcoming performances on the Scream Tour.
They also talk about T.I’s upcoming performance with Taylor Swift and although Tip is on the fence about whether he should perform with the country superstar, Nique Nique tells him that it would be a good look so he decides to take his daughter’s advice and accept Taylor’s offer.
The cutest moment of this week’s episode hands down goes to King, who was confused about whether he was a white or black little boy. When Tip tells him that he is a black little boy (or light skinned rather), King asks his dad if he can still get a white woman. I don’t know what was cuter: King’s little high pitched voice, his lack of front teeth or the fact that he really thought he and his mom we’re white! Gotta love the kids!
T.I then heads over to the Taylor Swift concert and prepares for his surprise performance. Of course, there are big differences between being backstage at a Taylor Swift concert and being backstage at a rap concert. Jeezy and Nelly make an appearance and the guys joke around about stealing cologne and bring the “black folks chicken”. T.I and Taylor perform “Live Your Life” together in front of all of Taylor’s screaming fans, and she’s ecstatic that the rapper agreed to step on stage with her!
Then we see T.I in straight hustle mode, as he has appearances, interviews and meetings to attend all before his daughter’s first show on the Scream Tour. Being the family man that he is, Tip made sure to catch Nique Nique’s first show, and he hopped on stage with the OMG Girlz, causing all the little teenie boppers to go nuts!
“Seeing my babies performing, it is a feeling inside that I cannot put into words…there’s a lot of feelings going on, it’s like a spaghetti junction of emotion” Tip says after the show ends.
Add this episode to the list of reasons why I just love Tip and Tiny’s family!!
