LMAO @ trisha_369, although I “DO” like Rihanna I have to agree w/ you mama. You think this is something check out Beyonce’s new video (smh)! Sex does INDEED sell. Compare artists (video and performances) from the last couple decades and then look at those of the new Millenium. It is like watching strip club performances…mostly lackluster artist with minimum TALENT. I thank God Mary J has stayed true to herself and kept it classy through & through. This is exactly why most Neo-Soul artist ain’t selling s#!t…they not advertising their bodies, sex appeal or image but their GOD GIVEN TALENT! When we (consumers) stop settling for this and spending our money on sex…then (and only then) we will bring back REAL MUSIC! I done damn near crossed over (lol). I’ll pay to see John Mayer or Coldplay before I pay for a concert of some of this “new age” R&B/Pop bulls#!t (smh)!!!
