Fantasia: “I Couldn’t Afford To Buy A Pizza”

If you missed Fantasia’s appearance on Wednesday’s “Oprah,” the singer sat down with the queen of daytime TV and discussed her family and financial woes.

Fantasia says she started feeling the pressure as sole breadwinner for her family. Her financial problems—including almost losing her home—made headlines. Fantasia gained 30 pounds, and her reputation took a hit when she missed numerous performances of The Color Purple. “I was on Broadway for a year,” she says. “Toward the end, I kind of lost control. Everything was going down the drain.”

besides tasia’s property going in foreclosure and rescued by Simon from American Idol

it’s runored Tasia..moved a married man in her home and put all the family out since the reality show and being sued by everyone..from the wife of the married man and family members.. life is ruff for a pimp-tress..

piece of advice! if you have million bucks, better put in a money market, and if you can’t afford it don’t buy it,i bet your not going to die,not having a high tech gadgets,clothes! and ofcourse plastic surgery is very expensive like botox,derm fillers,it will really drain your bank account. being practical is a key word, And keeping with the jonases,is not right.

Maybe it’s just me….. but I find it hard to feel sorry for someone who’s blown millions by being dumb. I understand wanting to take care of family and loved ones, but I’ve seen folks that barely have anything be able to do it. They bust their azz and and I’ll be damn if they’d miss a show knowing that’s where some good money is coming in. I hope she’s truly thankful to be blessed with a second chance…. many don’t have it.

you know i get so sick and tired of these negative religous ass ppl what makes you any better then her or the next person.. nothing and you ppl that sit there and call her dumb, life happens to every one you live you learn and you get pass at her age i had my share of dumb momemts in my life as im sure many of you have.. at least she is taking the steps to make things better for herself, many of you can’t even come close to her enter and outer beauty…she has faith in god and some time thats all you need when you get off course of the life god has set he has a way to bring you back….. im not religous at all.. but iam spiritual after years of being in church my whole life i seen the lies and backstabbing some of you ppl can be,, i got the bases i need and its up to me to search for my god in my own way . i never been a follower and never will i have my own personal relationship with god. man i hate to see and hear these hypocritical statements , some of you ppl need to get it together.
