Hello Beautiful’s Hater Hall Of Fame

The topic of “hate” is quite prevalent within the black community. Often times, however, hate-fueled aggression is misguided, ignorant and uselessly cynical. Being part of the Black Planet universe, HelloBeautiful is very much in touch with the issue of hate in our community. We have gathered some of the most blatantly offensive show of hate from our wonderful readers’ pool of comments, and compiled a list of three tips to help you avoid spewing such disparaging ideas into the universe. Check them out below:

1) Have a sense of humor.

This is the cardinal rule of the anti-hate bible. Be able to realize when someone is joking! Sarcasm, jokes and humor should not threaten you. Stars put themselves out in the public eye in order for us to formulate opinions about them. If we choose to make a joke at someone’s expense, its okay! Have a good laugh and move on.

2) “The only time you should look down on another woman is when you’re helping her up.”

Stop putting each other down ladies! Instead of harsh critique, opt for constructive criticism. When you write or say something mean in a comment, it doesn’t come across as brilliant. It comes across as mean. Any sentence beginning with “you stupid h*e” is inappropriate. As the saying goes, if you have nothing good to say, then say nothing.” That’s a surefire way to avoid hating.

3) Not every woman is out to get you.

You don’t need to always be defensive. If no one is attacking you directly, then there is no need to attack back. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. If you do not agree with a particular opinion, there is no need to go on a cussing tirade about how stupid a blogger is because he/she thinks Beyonce is boring. It’s not that serious. The same is true in broader life. Not every woman is trying to take you down. Save your misguided aggression for a more worthy cause.

lol! bp writers, it is your right to have an opinion about a star, but it is our right to have an opinion about what you write. If you choose to be a writer, then you need to accept the criticism. And, you all have the nerve to call someone a hater. Please!

What in the world is up with this word ‘HATER’ all of a sudden??? Can no one disagree or have a different opinion without immediately becoming a ‘hater’? Oh, lil wayne has 20 different baby mommas, we as females disagree with that..’yall females is hatin!!” I mean really how dumb is that? LMAO.seems like some1 done touched a nerve.looka here…now youll know damn well there were more so-called haters than that.btw how is this news?and i agree with previous comments,there are far too many errors on these post.there was one or two articles where youll couldnt even get the name of the main person who is of topic “spelled correct.”how youll gonna write out an article full of errors and ask us to not hate?hate’n isnt even the name for us,if anything we helping youll out.also smh

LESSON #1: HATER- Ghetto DEF: A person that simply cannot be happy for another person’s success. Real world equivalence of the word ENVIOUS:a feeling of discontent and ill will because of another’s advantages, possessions, etc

The problem today is the word, as all words in the Nigga vernacular, has been so over used that when some one is truly and honestly Pointing out something that is really wrong, people call them a hater.

IT AINT HATING IF IT IS TRUE! EXAMPLE:
You are now married and saved! But every woman or man you see is now just oh so going to hell because they arent, and you sit up and talk about them like a dog, wont associate with them like its a contagious disease or something, ALL the while forgetting that when you were out there f**king outta both pants legs, people treated you the same way. But if some one calls you stuck up…They are a hater?

THE WORD HATER HAS NOW BECOME A CRUTCH FOR THE UNREFINED DUFUS’ THAT CAN’T DEAL WITH THEIR INADEQUACIES, FAULTS AND FAILURES. IT’S SO MUCH EASIER TO SAY ‘they hating’ RATHER THAN TO ACTUALLY EXAMINE ONES SELF.

The demise of moral values and the Babylonian ways of Sodom and Gommorah are being rebirthed through outlets such as Radio…they use the Radio 2 push the agenda because you will be repititiously induced with these negative vibes 2 reduce 2 like some BS and before you know it your children are POp Lock & Droppin it 2 this Devilish form of genocide promoted through artist that choose to do the Latter than save face and make music that affects or will have positive effect

it does seem like the only ones mentioned on this blog are Rhianna and Beyonce. And as far as hating goes, it is true. You will get attacked on a directly personal level for voicing your opinion about an entertainment personality that neither of you know personally.
