Are Black Women Winning The Battle Of The Sexes?

Here is something very interesting, women have come a long way from the 70s to current day society. No longer is the man the breadwinner in most relationships, in today’s society women typically make more than men in most relationships. Whats interesting its that the drive in women has been stronger than the drive in men. When men were young , most did something stupid and did some time, garnered some felonies and ruined the rest of their lives. Not all black men by no means took this route, but statistics don’t lie and the prison records reveal more in dept details. Women have normally proved to be the cooler of the two genders, there are some stalkers, killers etc. but generally its the men who take the long ride to the correctional facility. Now here we are in 2010 and time has changed but the story is the same. THE MAN IS HOLDING ME DOWN! I am an American male, from African descent as i was told. No one is holding us down, brothers stop using excuses for everyday occurrences. Life goes on and the status quo doesn’t apply to me. I hate when people use that excuse. It shows weakness in our structure and then we are generalized. I don’t believe in how we interact with each other, its like we are doomed from lack of education with the language we call each other. The bottom line is this, there are an ocean of opportunities for everybody regardless of race. Stop making excuses and change your habits. I am the breadwinner in my relationship, i started a business and 9 years later the next generation will enjoy fruits of the labor created by hard work. It wasn’t a degree that did it but rather the dislike for the crying brothers who didn’t want anything out of life. Grow up!

Hey in a relationship someone is going to make more than the other person ,and who says it has to be a man? This is 2010 women are doing the d^amn thang! If a woman meets a man, who happens to make less, even alot less but he but treats her well and is secure enough to be in a relationship where his woman makes more so be it! There will probably emerge a larger segment of men in society playing the role of “Mr Mom”, traditionally reserved for women, staying home raising their children why wife brings home the bacon and frys it,lol. A man has to be secure with himself and the women has to be content to allow her man to be a man and respect him no less because he’s not on her salary level for this to work.

I wouldn’t marry a woman who makes more money than me. I just wouldn’t feel right.

bragging about a battle of the sexes between black folks is like bragging about beating up your 99 year old great-grandmother. Who is the winner and why would you do it? Whoever said there is a set up to hold black men back and allow black women to go through, had it half way right. Black men are held back, but so are black women. The plan is to deny a black man a job, then when he files for govt assistanc the family is denied because he lives with them. so he moves. he feels bad around his kids because he has no money, so they don’t see him often which has a domino effect. but when a black man does have a job, money and something to offer his family, he is the best, most providing and attentive father in the world.

Well I’mma put it to you short and simple…black women ARE prevailing bcuz the system is set up to entrap the black men while the black women move up. The sad thing is that black men allow themselves to be kept down by this systemical society and the fact that white men hated the strong black men of our ancestors, but allowed black women to get by. Even if that meant stripping the black men from the family and allowing her to have multiple kids by multiple men but allow them to be taken care of by the system. Women are fools if they accept the fact that bcuz black men don’t step up to their responsibilities that it should stop women from advancing in life. I say I don’t care how many kids you got. Don’t let that fact alone cause you not to achieve in life and make something of yourself. Same thing for how you was raised. It’s nice to know that there’s women out there that are willing to strive for some success despite of their upbringing or background. Black men have too much pride, want too much for free and have become too lazy by regressing to infancy. Wanting a woman to take care of THEM instead of THEM taking care of HER. So of course women are the rulers of this world. We only LET the men THINK that they. Now take a good look around…look at what this world has become.
