What is it about sexuality that makes us all so nosy about how people live? I have no interest in what my President, my favorite movie stars and rappers do with their genitals. Public culture, gay rumors (legit or not) are ruining our integrity and undermining our real goals. I could say right now my top 5 rappers could all be gay and I’d think no differently of the art they made. Let’s give the “Will Smith is gay” and “Jay-Z is gay” and “Latifah is gay” a rest until it sounds less like an accusation, and more just a matter of fact.

There is nothing personal about your public spouse. What you and your spouse do sexually is your business. The problem is explaining to my future daughter or son why they should continue to ensure our family legacy when they see a person that influences their decisions who they seek to emulate. I have always admired the Queen and wish that she would consider birthing a future king or queen in a marriage with their father instead of additional mothers unless it’s some some sort of polygamous agreement.

Coming out is a totally personal decision and people should respect that. Though I was and still am against Prop 8, I don’t think she should be pressured to make that choice.
