5 Celebs Who Should Be Thankful

With Thanksgiving less than a week away, we decided to make a list of the celebrities who really should be the MOST thankful and who they should be thanking.

1. Amber Rose

Miss Rose should be thanking the hell out of Kanye West. This year we saw her come out of nowhere to be the Hip-Hop “it” girl. The thing is that she doesn’t have an album, clothing line or anything that should be elevating her status. All she’s got is a video vixen past and Yeezy on her arm.

2. Drake

Drake is the perhaps the most unusual success story of the year is Drake, who started out as Jimmy Brooks to become the hottest rap star of ‘09. How did this happen? Weezy and his “success potion” helped up Drake’s street cred because, well he never really had any to begin with. Who knew a light-skinned dude from Toronto could have made it this far. Apparently, Lil Wayne did.

3. Lil Wayne

At the same time shouldn’t Wayne be thanking Drake too? Sure Wayne is a success story in his own right but he’s definitely kept up his public image by being the big push behind Drake.

4. Jay-Z

Jay-Z needs to thank a lot of people this year cos his album really ain’t ish and Hov is about to be over the hill. First off his wife, Beyonce had a far more spectacular year and even topped Jay on the Forbes list. Jay has mainly been in the news this year because of Bey. Then, his “Empire State Of Mind” song with Alicia is now a huge success partly because the Yankees won. Jay just might be falling off…

5. Frankie

This year was the year of Frankie. Keyshia Cole was nowhere on the map this year but her mother sure was. Between crazy engagements and a reality TV show, Frankie was the true star of 2009. We just hope she makes sure to thank the person who put in her the spotlight to begin with.
