Farewell To The King Of Pop
The world said farewell to the King of Pop today. Fans poured into Los Angeles from places all around the world, hoping to collectively mourn their idol in a massive ceremony.
The ceremony started with Smokey Robinson reading personal messages from several of Jackson’s celebrity friends who could not attend including Diana Ross, who sent the following message:
“Michael was a personal love of mine, a treasured part of my life, part of the fabric of my life, in a way that I can’t seem to find words to express.”

Usher later sang “Gone Too Soon,” as he walked towards Jackson’s casket.
Jermaine and Marlon’s final speech followed by Michael’s daughter Paris Katherine, who told mourners that her father was “the best father you could ever imagine.”
“Ever since I was born, daddy has been the best father you could ever imagine,” the 11-year-old girl said. “And I just wanted to say I love him so much.”

I have luved MJ since I was a kid. Michael really had a serious impact on a lot of people well in his early years. I along with my family will miss him greatly. And for those racist people that make those terrible comments, keep it to yourself! Michael has done so much for so many. No matter what he was going thru, he still came out on top. Wow, what a memorial I watched it from the beginning to the very end! I was cool until Usher broke down && his daughter(Paris) Oh My God!! He’s in a better place now though. God needed another good angel by his side.

today it has finally hit me micheal jackson is gone. today i finally cried, cause i know now that he is not comin back. the jacksons and the world has lost a good and humble person. i believe hes in a better place. al sharpton said it best micheal was not strange, this world was stranger and didnt understand the man that was deyond this world. thank you micheal for all you have done. rest in peace
