“Proud Peacock” Wins Hair Battle

Thought that $1.5 million peacock wedding dress was ridiculous? Imagine having a hairstyle made to look like peacock feathers! This style was called “The Proud Peacock,” and it won the grand prize in the 2009 International Fantasy Hair Competition. Hair competitions are just as popular as they’ve ever been! These women must have noooo concept of “safe” hair….

This reminds me of the time I used see the Hair Wars competitions in Detroit, MI. Some of the styles can be very creative but most, a hot filthy mess (LOL)! I remember the Hairy Chopper done by Mr. Little who sadly died in a motorcycle accident a couple of year ago and the ever so creative, Little Willie! Detroit & Philly have some fabulous hair-dos going on. All I really want is a wash & set!

I think these hair styles are amazing. It takes alot of talent and great imagination to put these together. Now if I saw someone in public like this I would be like “woah” but for a show just fantastic.
