Lil Mama Apologizes For Going In On Transgendered Dancer
Lil Mama F-ed up y’all. In case you haven’t heard, on America’s Next Best Dance Crew there’s a dance troop headed by a transgendered woman. All was well on the show (the group won multiple competitions) until Lil Mama had to say some ignorant ish:
“Leiomy, come on. Your behavior…it’s unacceptable. I just feel that you always have to remember your truth. You were born a man and you are becoming a woman. If you’re going to become a woman, act like a lady. Don’t be a bird, like ‘Oh my god, I’m not doing this!’ You know what I’m saying? It gets too crazy and it gets confusing. You’re doing this for America. Even though you’re the face for transgenders, you’re the face of America right now with this group and it’s not about anybody else. It’s about y’all. You know what I’m saying? So do it for the team. Do it for the team.”
Everyone got pissed that Lil Mama would be so insensitive. This is the apology letter she sent to GLADD:
I would like to clarify anything that was misunderstood from Sunday’s show. My remarks were never meant to be disrespectful regarding Leiomy’s gender nor offensive to the LGBT community, which has been a community that has supported me in all my endeavors. However, in hindsight, I recognize that my words may have come across as hurtful. I spoke with her privately after the taping to express that it was not my intent to offend her or any member of the transgender community and that I still live for Vogue Evolution.”
Do you think she really meant her original comments or is her apology sincere and she just made a bad judgment call on national television?

Well my thing has always been and will always be…who the hell is lil mama,what type of name is that for an adult?-wth.THE NEXT THING IS what experience does she have dancing?ok so she had an album or single maybe one or two videos here and there WOOOOOOOPI DOOOO that makes her a choreographer?child please, lil moomoo or whatever she calls herself needs to show off her dancing skills besides shaking that no ars-let America see what dancing skills SHE has if any than we should be the judge on whether or not she should remain judging.ON ANOTHER NOTE how many transvest.homos.bi’s can we possibly have down on earth?…GOTDAME not another black gay brotha…what in the hell…but seriously.if a brotha wants to convert himself,in that sick mind,that he is now a sista than he should certainly start dancing like one.Not all us sistas chicken out and nag but we gets down and handle ours with no exceptions,no explanations and/or certainly none of them excuses or rather…justifications.honestly,I can do w/o lil moomoo,and yes I am agreeing with some comments on here that just does resemble a man herself and no that baby atire does not help b/c she just isn’t cute enough to get away with it.call me a hater,I don’t care…they need to expeditiously replace her with someone that has the experience.

after watching that clip, when did she make this rude comment. I didn’t find what she said so bad. They were fire, so I don’t get the complaints about transgendered people. I don’t judge anyone. y’all go.
