Michael Jackson escaped his race on the sneaky tip. It’s not that black people turned their backs on him, black people were in denial about the evolution of him going from black to white for years until they finally decided to accept the truth. Phase one was the hair. He went straight from Soul Glow to Pert Plus. Black people thought about it and went — naaaaah… then comes the second phase; the nose job. Black people thought about it, then again said —–naaaaah. Third phase was the skin tone. Again, black people thought about it———-naaaaah. Fourth phase was him making his wife a white woman which is nothing major but given his history, it raised concern. Black people thought about it—– naaaaaah. The fifth and final phase Michael went through where as black people accepted that he was trying to escape his race was the fact that his only candidates to bare his children were nothing but white women. After that, we were officially out of denial. The only thing about it that really has me looking at him sideways now is the fact that he wanted to be white so bad; he faked the fact that white kids were biologically his up to his death. All in all, I must say that he was a great entertainer and will truly be missed. I just will not speak a lie or make excuses for what’s obviously in some way true. I have no beef or disrespect for the man, but he did have an identity crisis issue against his own race. But for some reason regardless, I’m still pissed that he’s gone. R.I.P Michael.
