Disney’s Black Princess Isn’t Really Black?

There’s a new trailer for The Princess and the Frog and it’s got us scratching our heads. It turns out that when the princess kisses the frog that he doesn’t turn into the white prince yet. She turns into a frog and then remains a frog for most of the film. What happened to our Black princess?? Not only is the prince of a lighter skin tone but we also see in this trailer that the voodoo witch doctor is a black man.

I’m glad Disney made the movie, I can’t wait to go and see it. As far as the race thing goes, this is something new for disney and as we know by the economy, change takes time.
