Akon: I’m Taking Care Of My Baby!
UPDATE: Akon Says He’s Taking Responsibility
Akon’s lawyer cleared up the dead beat daddy allegations and gave the following statement:
“Akon has taken responsibility and has been extremely cooperative and proactive in handling this private matter. Paternity was only established just over 30 days ago. Since the case was filed outside of Georgia jurisdiction, where he is a legal resident, Akon is currently in the process of engaging counsel in California and will continue to handle this matter in a timely manner.”

It looks like an Akon is trying to dodge taking care of his 6-month-old child. Sara Coleman is the mother of a baby she had with Akon and she wants the singer to pay up. According to tmz.com he took a paternity test and the kid is in fact his! Sara and her lawyer are NOT playin’ around either. Check out what tmz.com had to say about child support pursuit:
We’re told Sara Coleman’s lawyer, Patrick Baghdaserians, has been desperately trying to serve Akon — even at Michael Jackson’s memorial — but so far no luck.
Damn Akon, is owning up to your responsibilities really that hard to do??

Hey give him a break, it is not a jump right on in because someone says you are the daddy. Just like the man recently did just over a year for not paying for a child that turn out thru DNA not to be his child after all. Who to say it was not planned to get the money.

Yeah, a majority of females abuse the CS system in order to get government assistance at a fast pace. Housing (paying out 90%), 300$ worth of food stamps per child, the gov’t will even give out a large lump sum loan that the said father has to pay. lol it’s ridiculous, bet ya’ll didn’t know that… But, it’s a hustle for those females that just want to sit on their asses and settle for gov’t asstnce. I just say ladies don’t abuse the system, it’s for the kids man. THE KIDS… and men, pay your child support(it’s on ya credit!!! forever!!!) and also spend time w/ your children…

Since the baby is Akons’ he hit it, the bulls eye, dead on the money, 18 yrs, 18 yrs of support for tagging the female, guess it was worth it. Next time try using two rubber and some spermicide. Wheather the women is sincere or just a luckly, she now his baby mama and she get what the courts say she is do to her, cash moves everything around, dollar, dollar bills ya’ll.
