A clearly ‘intoxicated’ Mariah Carey made quite a spectacle of herself while accepting the Breakthrough Actress Awards for the movie ‘Precious’ at the Palm Springs International Film Festival last night.
Mumbling and stumbling through her acceptance speech, the 39 year old diva was definitely sipping on something:
“Please forgive me because I’m a little bit…” she said before someone in the audience responded, “Drunk!” to which she replied, “Yeah.”

i think it’s a crying shame that people cut superstars some much slack simply because of who they are….. Mariah needs to be held accountable and put to shame…. what she represent is foul!(getting drunk everyday, and have slurred speech on television is o.k. as long as your famous,” you’ll be excused”).This is BS America wake up! this is not the type of person i would want my daughter, niece, or cousin to look up to! i don’t care how the bad habit started! Look life is rough for most of us, and yet we have to hold it together. Fear of being a hasbeen (ex-star) is no excuse for being a drunken fool! you all who’s her fan,nor the media outlets picked up
on the back of that album cover a photo of a (Black Alaskan Explorer’s “FACE!!)
you have to look real close at the back cover.(Even on the CD) you can see him
he’s wearing a parka hood like that of a (NORTH FACE) jacket.
Once you make out the (Fur Hood)..you gonna say..Damn!!
It Is a Face There!! maybe that’s who helped her get her drink on that nite.Lol
But serious, if anyone out there still has that cd or album check it out..it’s there.
