Queen Latifah Was A Victim of Sexual Abuse

Queen Latifah has revealed she was a victim of childhood sexual abuse.

According to perezhilton.com, Latifah revealed in an interview that a teenage babysitter preyed upon her as a child, which manifested into difficulties with her adult relationships.

Suits threatens to expose Queen Latifah’s sexuality.

“He violated me,” shares Latifah in the new issue of Essence. “I never told anybody. I just buried it as deeply as I could and kept people at an arms length. I never really let a person get too close to me. I could have been married years ago, but I had a commitment issue.”

We hope Latifah gets help for this issue and hopefully encourage other young women to speak up and get help.

Thanks for keeping it real. So many people stand back and think that just because a person has a title or status that the person isn’t human. We are all just people with up and downs and feelings. Nobody is exempt from trials and tribulations of life. I am just glad that she is real and not afraid to share. So many females have been through something similar but didn’t want to or know how to tell someone.

My beloved sister dat is one of those things in life dat we cannot change no matter how much we try, but d most important thing in life is to always put our past behind us and get on with our life. so my dear wat ever d situation may be i want u to put it behind and get on wit ur life. and pls dont let it weigh u down at all cus u are not d first and u are not going to be d last. and i pray dat God will help u restore dat which u have lost.thank u and remain blessed we all LOVE U our Queen Latifah.

I Think just as one said she has done well for her self. If it were us we wouldn’t want any one to say s**t about what we do and WHEN we do. let her live and some day god will let HER come over this as for some we never get over it.
