Paula Patton & Robin Thicke Expecting Baby

We’re hearing that singer Robin Thicke and his gorgeous wife, actress Paula Patton are about to become parents. The actress recently told GIANT magazine that she has stopped taking birth control. Robin married Paula on June 11, 2005 after meeting her in a teen club at age fourteen. Congratulations to the happy couple.

Gee, now I’m “dumb”. Who’s labelling now. Then again from someone that is so pretentious as to call herself a “socialite” which used to mean a socially prominent person (in todays translation an overused self designated title for a talentless, bar hopping, partying W***E……see Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton) I would be offended if I actually gave a flying s**te! I dont know why the heading says they are expecting , when no where in the article does it say she is actually pregenant, it just says she went off her birth control; I hate misleading titles.

@ Shamel , they have been married 4 years not 14. @ Cesteleon, Taye Diggs and his wife did have a baby not to long ago, but apparently that didnt make the big News on here

You chicks are just upset that someone (Dark Daddy and Socialite) said something with a hint of truth to it. Paula Patton wants to be the next Halle Berry??!!! Whatever. Speaking of that nut job (Halle, and I can say that because I met Eric Benet and he, in so many words, confirmed it. I mean if you’re one of the most beautiful women on the planet, but you cause every man that you are with to treat you like s**te, then what is that saying?). Why is is that no one has anything to say about her “sperm donor” he hasn’t always been around, yet most of you women always talk about how she’s the s**te and how cute her “neutranoid” baby is…. Furthermore THICKE (the spoiled brat son of actor ROBIN THICKE of “Growing Pains” fame. Remember Kirk Cameron?) has been on the scene a lot longer than some of you think (he had long hair back then in the ’90’s) and I seriously doubt that an actors son would have to struggle with anything (and she probably wouldn’t have been with him this long). I’m not buying that bulls**te. I wish Taye Diggs and Idina Menzel would hurry up and conceive a child, just so I could see what the hypocritical slags on here have to say about that. No I am not against the interracial union, but seriously some of you shouldn’t say jack s**te about the lameness off the Kardashians, Bushes, and Odoms if you think that this is all peaches and cream…..contradictory mother f**kers!

well besides all the negativity, he is good looking and she is gorgeous, the fact that she is his childhood love makes it so cute. You dont see alot of that now and days. Girl meets boy, boy pays for girl’s happy meal, she f**ks boy, then girl gets pregnant, guy leaves the pic. what i DONT like about this post, is that its so much negativty around Kim and Reggie. Maybe because he is a black man with a white woman. idk. but im paying attention to that too. Congrats to them both

This is to Dark Daddy, grow up. Yes you’re right about the situation if it were a black male but even tho this is 2009 and it’s still happening, you have to realize that they both came from nothing and are now something. He payed for her to go to acting school when he struggled with him music. When God sees that a person is willing to do for someone other than him/herself then the blessings start coming. As you can see the blessing are her for them, but the biggest thing they have is not what color is but how much, “LOVE” there is. God bless them and their child.

@ Dark_Daddy, people don’t have anything to say about this because it is OBVIOUS this union was built on LOVE (emphasis on love)! They met at 14 and have been together every since. This was BEFORE the money, fame, and publicity. These two were essentially kids when they got together and have been MARRIED for over ten years. Furthermore, they are EQUALLY succcessful. One is not taking from the other. Show me a black male celebrity who has been with his white woman since they were kids and I will give him the same acknowledgement and congrats. However, most of them go get the white chicks AFTER the fame (and big checks) and leave the sista’s behind that were with their asses when they were broke. Now that’s the difference.

I am soo confused by this…HB can print a story like this with a decent headline but then they print “Kim K wants Reggiee Bush’s baby NOW!” WTF is that? I mean really. I am happy for this couple they are both very talented and it is FINALLY nice to see HB put interracial couples in a positive light instead of always trying to spin it into something negative for ppl to comment on.
