Oprah’s Network Unveils First Shows

Oprah Winfrey apparently will get by with a little help from her friends when her cable network makes its scheduled debut early next year.

Tapped to help the daytime diva include frequent “Oprah Winfrey Show” guests Lisa Ling, Peter Walsh and Dr. Laura Berman.  A full launch schedule for OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network, a blend of original and acquired programming, won’t be announced until later this year. Also on tap is “Excellent Adventure” from Ashton Kutcher’s Katalyst Films, which will feature celebs embarking on dream adventures with close friends.
