UPDATE: How’s this for a twist. We just got info from the courts — Nas’ DUI case has been administratively dismissed. The reason — not enough evidence, because his drug test “came back negative for drugs, including marijuana.” Interesting, especially because Nas admitted to cops he had been smoking weed!

Payback’s a b**ch!!! TMZ has learned rapper Nas was busted for DUI near his home in Georgia.
Nas was busted by Henry County cops on September 10, 2009. Law enforcement tells us he was arrested, booked and charges are pending. Nas is in court today in Los Angeles due to his divorce from Kelis — and if custody becomes contentious, the DUI could be a factor.
The arresting officer says he observed “eyelid tremors in both eyes and body tremors.” Cops say the car smelled of “raw marijuana.”
Nas told the officer he had been smoking week at his friend’s hours before he was busted.Nas flunked the field sobriety test after missing steps in a walking test.

I got a question…Now, I’m sure most reasonable people would agree that a man should be responsible for his kids and pay child support……..But do you HONESTLY believe, the amount of money Kelis is seeking is NECESSARY to support their child??….For real???…..Keep it 100……
Much less, an INFANT child??…Let’s be real for a minute, adult to adult…Now you know damn well, EVERY basic need that child has would be MORE than covered with a FRACTION of the money she’s trying to get!!..And EVEN IF she wanted to spoil their child with name brand bibs and cribs, or whatever, she STILL wouldn’t need that much damn money!!
Not only would it be utterly ridiculous, but I imagine it would actually be a BURDEN to even ATTEMPT to waste that much money, time, and storage space it would require to shop for THAT much temporary baby stuff, that would be outgrown in a matter of weeks!!! Unless your gonna be a 5-STAR IDIOT like Paris Hilton with her dog and change your baby 100 times a day like a Barbie (which the baby would hate) and buy expensive diamonds that a baby would try to swallow like any other shiny object!!! At that point, you might as well tattoo the word “SPITE” on your forehead!!! (And “Dumb Gold Digger” on your t*tties while your at it!!!)
And I’m not speaking from a man’s point of view…This is a realistic, logical point of view…I’ve read many comments on this site from WOMEN who agree that Kelis is just trying to get revenge for Nas’ (alleged) infidelity!!
Now, of course, you’re entitled to your opinion, and you don’t have to agree with anyone…
I’m simply just trying to understand WHY you feel that way…
If you feel Kelis should play dirty and hit him where it hurts, then say that…
But don’t pretend like she really “deserves” that much damn money for child support, as if she’s actually gonna spend it on SUPPORT for their CHILD!!!

Great comment Pocahontas I can understand not knowing who drake, day 24, or the game lol but Nas has been around acting and doing songs since we all were lil kids and to actually click on a link about someone and not know them is weird b/c if you don’t even know the person you won’t even click just like I don’t waste my time when they have up their meet such and such and want you to look at their music page. As for Nas i’m glad he got in trouble so now they can hurry up his tax situation so that Kelis can get the rest of her money that he owes her for child support.

Actually, THE cop said Nas admitted to smoking weed. That does NOT = a confession. I find it amazing that you find that “interesting” when its clear the COP is lying or do you need a TWEET from the cop telling you himself that he lied? Perhaps you don’t believe cops lie, so this has you so confused. Nas is street, and has been in the game a very long time and seems relatively intelligent, I doubt he would have “admitted” to smoking weed hours ago, even if it were true…Come on Deborah, use your head!
