Man Al B. Sure is trippin! Now that is the son that should have been called Al B bc he looks just like him. He need to grow and be a man and try to be there now. And far as Quincey goes if he has not reached out now dont worry about it he will eventually just move on and do you!

I am in the same position my dad was and is still a complete a*****e and he would use my mom as an excuse not to take care of me. My little sister has it even worse. Thanks to my mom for holding up the fort and I was able to help as an adult with my little sister, so we hadn’t missed out on anything we both had plenty as kids even more than some with two parents. But my point sharing that is if I have a problem with my dad I will take it to him not let everyone in the world know. He is not the only kid with a deadbeat dad. I think he is trying to gain financialy from it. And if thats what he is trying to that good for him. But it’s not gonna make his father change.

i Still say the letter is a fraud. Now why would Quincy write a letter and give it to this website? all the connections that diddy has, this letter could be in any major blk owned magazine. Why here. From what i hear Quincy has a relationship with his dad, its not as tight as the one with Diddy, but thats only b/c his mother lives with diddy off and on.

how can al b be a dead beat… child support was ordered and is paid… how small an amout it is based on what damn near 20 years ago when he was hot….. so people please and look at the pics he’s in recent photos with his dad and older sibling… wake up and read the statement and letter he didnt write them sorry to say i mean did you see him on mtv’s my super sweet sixteen thee way he was talking and now he speaks so passionately in this letter this letter wasnt written by him and i agree with others how can he mange to get recent photos with his dad but cant manage to contact his dad…. puffy wow anything to make you look good…. and who can compete with puffy dollars all b sure cant surely he doesn’t have that much money and he doesnt have much in royalities coming in since no one can say when the last time they brought an al b sure (record) or when the last time you saw his name as a songwriter for anyone… this is a waste of time beating a dead horse and if you look to family pics u see quincy with his dad all through out the years so no al couldnt give him the puffy lifestyle nor dream hey my hat goes off to kim i mean she wasnt a top model or a high paid model just a chic who lucked up with al b sure when he was hot then puffy now she go kids so hey the checks will never stop coming in…..

why would you have the audacity to be upset? i would have outed my dead beat dad too! that’s rediculous to take offense because YOU AS MAN neglected your responsibilites! hell nah! he should be embarrassed and ashamed. and if not for anything else, he should reach out to his son to get him to quiet down about his fathers lack luster performance to his title. good for the young bull… but i don’t expect anything to come of it.

I wish I had a n/gga like Puff around when I was a kid…*lol* Most people want to come to terms with what they don’t understand…Maybe Al B. Jr, needs to come to terms with not coming to terms…

maybe a handful of men get a little upset when they see another man taking better care of his child. most do not give a damn because it means less money they have to spend or little to no child support. some men brag about another man taking care of his kid. sounds like AL was never around. he was bringing in the dough years ago. i think he was just a deadbeat from the gate and GUILT is why he has not reached out to HIS SON. the son who looks exactly like him. my ex stayed away from our kids for years on end. no calls,letters, and maybe a few visits over a 22 year period. also only 5 or 6 child support checks all my kid’s lives. they are 22 and 19. this was all done to spite me and hurt me. now guilt is eating away at him. he could not even face my mom. when he would see her he’d go the other way and no my mom would have cussed him out she was not like that.he could not even face me. he told my 22 year old daughter that i was going to cuss him out if i saw him. my daughter said no we are grown it is over now. my mother is not thinking about you or what you did in the past. and my child was right. so guilt has consumed him all these years. it has been made clear to him recently by me that we are over. there will never be an us again and believe me he did not want to hear that and he has not called back since. so in other words because we could not be he did not want to be a dad and now he regretts it.

some of yall are cruel, this boy knows who his father figure(diddy) is, but he wants his dad in his life as well, whats so wrong with that? and for the ppl saying he should just be satisfied with diddy and the money yall r ignorant, i wanna see how u would react if u were in this situation and someone told ur kid that or better yet if u were the kid in this situation.

I will say this, Sometimes (right or wrong) men have issue with someone else being able to do better for thier child then themselves. No excuses for AL B but I think Puffy being around actually makes it harder for AL.B to man up- because in his mind he has to compete w DIDDY (and we all know that isnt much of a comp on ALs part) Shame is an incredible burden- and sometimes people dont have the courage to face the shame that is part of any road to redemption.

This to be said of fathers who don’t acknowledge the attempts that these children are making. Here I am the proud father of one biological son, taking care of my SON and his four siblings and I am not with their mother, BUt I know what it is like to grow up without your father in your life. It is a painful experience but believe Quincy it is just that an EXPERIENCE because it will make you a better man, a better father to your children and over all a better human being. Al B., I’m not going totell you how you should feel or what you should do or should have done because you are not a stupid, careless, heartless human being, at least I hope not. But what I will say to you is “What you put out into the cosmos comes back ten-fold, the bible tells you that, Just as Quincy reached out to you and you ignored him, you will reach out to him, and let’s just pray he is more empathetic to you than you were to him…

It’s a shame that a child has to go to this extreme to get attention from his father. So many fathers just simply refuse to even acknowledge their children. The bad thing is the acknowledgment is all that most kids need…a phone call, a letter, a text…just something to dispell the belief that child has that his father doesn’t love him or doesn’t care enough to be a part of his life. My son’s father is the same way. my son has tried in every way to contact his dad and this guy refuses to even talk to him on the phone or correspond through email in fear that I’m looking for child support. (What he doesn’t know is that I’m not.) I would be happier with him just having a relationship with his son. I don’t understand men that could be this way. How hard is it to pick up the phone and call your child?
