Chris Brown unleashed a tirade on Twitter over the weekend after he couldn’t find his new album, ‘Graffiti,’ on the shelves at a New England Walmart. He said big retail chains are “blackballing” him and “lying to customers.”
According to the NY Daily News, the singer tweeted the following after he visited a Walmart:
“im tired of this s–t,” he wrote at noon on Dec. 11. “major stores r blackballing my cd. not stockin the shelves and lying to costumers. what the f–k do i gotta do.”
He quickly added, noting that his words would certainly be publicized and used against him: “yeah i said it and i aint retracting s–t. im not biting my tongue about s else…”

After fans complained of not being able to find his album, Brown took it upon himself to visit a Walmart in Wallingford, CT, where they “didn’t even have my album in the back,” Brown said. “not on shelves, saw for myself.”
“the manager told me that when there are new releases its mandatory to put em on the shelves.. BUT NO SIGN OF GRAFFITI.”

Around the time he was having this issue WalMart wasn’t carrying his album. Music is his main life line, so Ijust think he was more upset by the fact that WalMart wasn’t giving the people the opportunity to decide if they wanted to buy his music or not. Before reading about this I went to a few different WalMarts’ to see if they had his album, and to be honest I was upset they didn’t have it at the time as well. I feel he was frustrated by the fact that the world knows part of the story which took place, he did what he was made to do, and he knows that for the rest of his life people will place a label on him even if he’s made all the efforts to change. The guy can’t even get upset about issues in the world today because people will say he’s “overreacting” just because of all that took place. However, if none of this would have ever taken place I don’t think you’d see these types of article saying he had a meltdown etc. No one is so straight laced that they won’t get upset. If he would have made a lot of phone calls about it to the corporation they would probably record him and then another news article would come out saying “Chris Brown Harasses Major Company” etc. People always have something to say about what they would do or how another person should act, but when its them starring down the barrel the rules change.

His album was on the shelves at my local WalMart…so maybe it was just that location, and in that case all it took was an INS (position at WalMart) to decide they had a personal grudge and not shelve his album. lol I think he might have overreacted by saying the entire chain was doing the same thing and eff the industry…and even worse I think it shows how he goes from 0 to 90 in 30 seconds…really wouldnt it have been more productive to get on the phone and make phone calls than it would to start Tweeting….

He can’t force anybody to shelf/sell his stupid a$$ CD’s The world doesn’t owe him a damn thing. He should have thought of that before he started doing things unacceptable to society. If he wants his CD sold he make enough money, he can open his own stores across the US selling CB cd’s, clothing, nightsticks and whatever else he want sold.
And all the people who support him can invest and buy directly from him. Of if you really think he’s worth it call stores before hand and go to the one that sells his CD. Personally if Walmart did have it I wouldn’t buy the damn thing anyways. He only had one song I liked on the whole CD..not worth buying. I can just download that one song and be done with it.

I bought two of his albums. I love it! Found it at Target, but I was very upset that Walmart didn’t have it. As a matter of fact everyone I know who has it also loves it. I’ve always felt that Chris Brown was getting the shorter end of the stick and Rihanna wasn’t telling everything. I mean who while getting beat in the head has the opportunity to look into someones eyes and say they appeared “to not have a soul”. I’ve personally seen women attack men as well, but generally guys don’t tell even if they get locked up. Maybe its the fear of looking weak, but either way no one should be putting their hands on anyone. Regardless of it all the only reason why Rihanna isn’t around him now is because the judge ordered it. Apparently she didn’t feel he was that violent, because she didn’t even want it. I did hear the song in which he accuses her of cheating first, but what was funny is that he also touches on the fact that she busted out his car windows and talked him into staying in the relationship at one point. There are always warning signs that things are getting out of control, and people need to be smart enough to walk away before things get to this point. BTW I chose not to buy her album this time because i haven’t heard anything that I like, and she’s getting a bit strange.

Wow i didnt even know the album was out it wasnt even advertize that it was coming out or being out. I was just at the record store this past weekend and on the selves for new cds chris album wasnt even up there. If it was i would have buyed it.

Give the boy a break he is young, he made a mistake and he will deal with it and hopefully grow from what he has done, yes abusing women is wrong, he has to live with what he has done, his relationship is done, he is looked at as a woman beater to millions now, he deserves a chance to get his life together, why is rihanna not being banned, she went from a good girl gone bad to raunchy and nasty she is damn near naked everytime you see her, thats not a good example for young girls who listen to her music!

people would feel sorry for him if he seemed truly sorry for what he did. no he shouuld not be judged for the rest of his life for one night but if he learned to fall back and not be in the spot light and showed that he is a man of change through his actions ( starting a mens group for battares, giving money to victims of domestic violence) and not his words then people would see his growth. right now he just looking like somebody who is sorry they got cought. whatever RiRi did to him in that car the truth is he is the only one who got charged. she did the right thing she waited untill she was about to drop a new album did one interview put her pain into her music and called it a day. thats what he should have did. insted he on larry king, he on youtube every other day. he need to get her p.r. company number.

Oh well! he should’ve given the public a chance to miss his ass. ABSENCE makes the heart grow fonder. you can’t expect people to get over something that’s still being played up in the media — with him playing into it with every interview he does about it. larry king, wendy, angie martinez, 20/20… he can’t have it both ways. he can’t expect people to forget it if he keeps reminding them with every response interview he does. after he was sentenced he should’ve just done his court appointed business. but his people are so greedy that they KNOW that if he falls back someone else will come and take his place and there goes their meal ticket. so they keep pushing him and he’s too stupid to say “hold up! the people still aren’t ready for me yet!” and now this is what happens. he gets his face cracked and his CDs rejected. again, i say, Oh well!

Here’s a scenario: You find a wallet on the street, and it has a few dollars in it. there is no ID, but there are things in it that can help you find out who it belongs to. (Credit card receipts, et cetera) You can go on to cure AIDS, end world hunger, and completely wipe out unemployment. Do you want to be known for the rest of your life as the person that didn’t return a frikkin wallet? I know, it sounds crazy, but think about it. In the time that the two of them been together, you never heard about anything else that he has ever done to her. Also, do you recall the other side of the story where he had injuries too? She gets “poor baby” he gets wrung out to dry. The whole thing is too one sided.

Okay. Maybe someone is going to slaughter me verbally here for having this opinion. But enough is enough. What happened with Chris and Rhianna is almost a year ago. They are obviously living separate lives. Is he going to keep paying for what happened? How much longer is she going to milk it? It kills me that he is known in most interviews that she does as “Rhianna’s abusive ex-boyfriend” but in all honesty, what about her? i would never EVER condone a man hitting a woman, but a woman hitting a man is just as wrong. And besides that, it was finally reported that she hit him IN THE FACE while HE WAS DRIVING. If you look past the whole “poor Rhianna” scenario, don’t you see that she pretty much endangered both of their lives in this situation? And frankly, the way she portrays herself really makes me wonder how innocent she really is…Personally, i hope Chris can rise above all of this. His music is pretty good. Give him the same chance she got with her album. It’s said that the sales of Rated R aren’t that good, but at least she is on the shelves! He should get the same opportunity. Wasn’t it enough that his endorsements got cut? What’s next, is he going to get totally blackballed?
