GALLERY: Happy Birthday Aaliyah!
Today is the birthday of singer Aaliyah. She would have been 31, but she tragically passed on August 25, 2001 in a fatal plane crash while in the Bahamas. She was there shooting the video for “Rock The Boat,” which was released posthumously.
Aaliyah was truly one of a kind, as she seamlessly blended the concept of street and sweet together in both her music and her style, making her a favorite among men who wanted to be with her, and women who wanted to be her (or at least be friends with her). The soft-spoken songstress was a trendsetting triple-threat whose talents never appeared to have gone to her head.
With her still living in our hearts and in our memory, we wonder what she would have achieved had she still been here.

What? Its true! It would be more sad if someone talented passed away like Mj & Tupac those were tragic deaths. Classless or not Im stating the truth. Have you heard her do the anthem? She cannot sing! And her dancing is whatever anyone can dance like that with a class or two.
