Why is it we don’t hear this about all these movies you see about devils, and demons. Or better yet these movies showing people killing others for pleasure, or some nut job killing folks at random just because he/she is crazy. Again it is called entertainment when white people do it, and bad influences or ghetto, or trash when blacks do it. Another way to keep us from gaining the same financial status as whites.

NO, Tyler Perry has given black people a mirror. The fact that we take that reflection, laugh at it, and use it to better ourselves is the problem. Now if white people would only look at the office and family guy and do the same thing they might be on to something.

Everything according to white america about blacks is bad. Mr. Perry is just showing the world how it use to be, they way our parents kept us out of jail, and from being the police’s favorite target. If anything He is helping society deal with the things that most people are scarred not only to deal with but to talk about. Mr. Perry’s movies and plays are based on everyday day life. So back off and let him do his thing.

I don’t think its bad for black america. I do believe that Mr. Perry is on the d.l. and should just come out of the closet. He would help soo many other brothers who struggle with the truth on a daily basis. I feel that the Madea charater is an excuse for him to dress in drag. Go ahead Mr. Perry and be honest…to yourself and your people.

Look here the people who got this forum together are just doing what white america wants them to do. Tyler Perry has started his own studio and now they just want to destroy that. They didn’t win that battle so now they’re going to use the black upper class to break is good works down. I need the people who started this to see what is going on. We as a people are coming up it would be a lie if all the people in the movie were happy and rich because the majority of out people are not. That doesn’t mean that we as a people are less of a people, it just means that we have alot more work to do.

it’s comedy. don’t take it so seriously. if you are someone that is easily offended then don’t watch his movies. he tells the story the way he sees it and people watch them because they can relate on some level or another

I notice when someone makes more money than usual we start to get sensitive and nosey. Remember David Chapelle. No one said anything when Martin Lawrence, Flip Wilson, Jamie Foxx, and so many other great comedians where doing it. No one cares that he is sending messages in his plays and movies.
