Baby Gives Mo’Nique a 150k Watch!!!

On a recent episode of The Mo’Nique Show, rap mogul Baby reached into his deep pockets and pulled out a watch estimated to value around $150,000.00! It might have been an apology gift, seeing as how Mo revealed an incident that transpired between them at the Source Awards, where they squabbled over use of her dressing room’s bathroom. Check out the video to hear more about the watch, the award show incident, and Baby’s relationship with Lil’ Wayne; turns out there is some validity to their claim of having a father son relationship.

just a little fyi for some of you baby and wayne have invested millions in their hometown of new orleans…school uniforms and supplies every year, donations to various after school programs, rebuilding playgrounds for kids to have a place to play other than in the streets…u should do your research before u criticize cuz if u did you would see that the lil watch he bought monique is chump change for him..

People leave really immature comments. Its unreal. I am an advocate for helping others and donating to charities but let’s not forget that people donate what they want WHEN they want to. Just because he gave her that expensive gift doesn’t mean he’s not giving back to his community in some way. I’m sure there’s more money where that came from.
People don’t go around telling you how you should spend your money so why do you think it’s your job to dictate what he should do about the money he earned? You don’t have to be rich to donate money to help others and quite frankly alot of us (even myself) have indulged in gifts and kept our money to ourselves when we could have helped someone else with it.
Whether he earned it legit or not, it’s his money to spend. My heart goes out to single mothers indeed but there’s government assistance for that. We can’t put the weight of what we vote officials to do on a rich person’s shoulders. We don’t vote for celebrities. Their money is theirs to spend even if they bought a pound a sawdust.

Why is he being criticized for giving MoNique a gift? Give the money to single parent mothers? I’m tired of the poor single mothers… They don’t need money they need a clue… they wasn’t poor leaving the club in they freakum dress, going to waffle house with that sucka azz jigga, and then waking up with a gut full of nut the next morning. Give credit to the real women who find themselves in a single parent situation and don’t ask nobody for sh1t. Learn from their mistakes, get back up and raise their children. I have a issue with the rich giving to the rich. P Diddy gave some rich rockstar a new bmw or some type of luxury car…why? I love Monique but Baby should have invested that money into a couple of families in his hometown of New Orleans. For example, $150,000 could have provided 15 single mothers out there catching the bus to school and work with a $10,000 car. But he had rather spend that type of money on bling and to show off…sad!
