Last night, Janet Jackson tweeted: “Thank u for ur endless love n support! I hope u guys enjoyed us tonight. It was very special for me n I have a very special gift for all of u.”

After paying tribute to her late brother Michael by dancing alongside a projection of his likeness, Janet Jackson gave the ultimate thank you to both her fans and her sibling by releasing her brand new single, “Make Me,” on her Web site. The song is an uptempo dance jam – what she does best – and if the hook sounds a bit familiar, it’s for a reason; Jackson repeats the phrase “Don’t stop ’til you get it up,” a similar line to her brothers’ iconic 1979 solo song. The track will most likely be the first single from her upcoming album, reportedly due out in early 2010.
