When Did Being Bisexual Become So Trendy?

I remember once upon a time, when all a woman had to do was show a little cleavage to get attention. Then it was being a big booty cutie that was hot. Though your physical assets may hold a little weight in the sexiness department, being bisexual automatically makes you a  “sex kitten” without even having to do the “booty toot” pose. What is it about being bisexual that is so appealing?

Some may think the appeal is in the girl-on-girl action. Gorgeous women getting hot and heavy in the act? Every man’s fantasy. How many porns have you seen with this sort of behavior and in the very next scene it’s one of the women with a man? Haven’t you heard some of your male friends wish they could get a “freak” like that? Hip-hop is in love with freak chicks and their freak chicks cause “having two chicks is better than having no chicks!”

Others feel a “bi” lifestyle represents modern sexual freedom instead of being a taboo topic. It’s the 21st Century, and it’s all about free love.

The media has cashed in big time with reality shows like MTV’s “A Shot At Love” starring openly bisexual Tila Tequila, casting openly bisexual actresses as the lead of major movies (a la “Transformers” with Megan Fox), and turning tricks video vixens into professional models.

Then there are the select few that bisexuals as just plain “greedy” and “confused” about their sexual origin. Playing both sides of the fence is having your cake and eating it too.

What is it that is so damn hot about being bi? And where does that leave those who don’t fit into the “all or nothing” box?
