B***hy, whiny?? I bet some skinny ass broad wrote this to try an further berate the “Plus Size” women. I love Monique and I agree I hate you skinny b***hes always complaining that you are fat..blah blah blah…The world has led us to believe that we have to be model thin to be loved.. That’s some BS.. There are very few stores that cater to women with a lil extra cushion and Plus Size Models?? Where the hell are they becuz I havent seen any. If anyone is whiny it’s these “Perfect Models” that think the world revolves around them.

I am a shapely plus sized woman wearing a size 14. I happen to love Ashley Stewart’s clothing,because I feel that just because a woman is larger than a size 1-10 does not mean that she can’t dress in a stylish appropriate fashion! There is a need for plus sized fashion lines and show,magazines,etc because for the most part the mainstream top fashion designers are creating their clothing lines for women who are a size 0. The average American woman is a lot larger than that, so there is a need and target customer for this.Plus sized woman should be able to view images of themselves in the pages of magazines, on tv, etc!

I’m plus sized as well and I don’t think that just because we are bigger than society wants us to be means that we can’t be as pretty or as fashionable as someone who is a size 8. Let me just go ahead and dissect this article. First let’s talk about the complaining. It may seem like thats all we do but how else are you going to hear us out? Would you rather us go on sweet little campaigns to where people would ignore us or would you rather us just sit in the shadows and do nothing? Well I’m sorry to say, but it is OUR time to be heard, and if the only way that we are going to get through to shallow minded people is by complaining, then so be it. I bet if we weren’t even complaining, this article wouldn’t have been written. It gives us a voice, letting you all know that we do care and I’ts time to make a change.

Now to answer the question “Why should people who are bigger have their own exclusive clothing and fashion shows instead of being of one accord with the general population?” Well the author of this article is right. If it wasn’t for plus size specialty stores, these other stores that have the “Plus Size” section dont have too much variety. The fabric is inferior, the style isnt all that great and all of it always looks old like it has just been sitting there, tried on by every PHAT girl that walks up in there. I’m sorry but i go there to by NEW clothes, not “Not So Gently Used” Clothes lol. It seems like only the ones who cater to giving full figured women the style that they crave are the only ones who care about us. Thats why we have our own exclusive clothing stores. And fashion shows! Let a plus size chica work the runway at a fashion show and watch her be the butt of every joke leaving everyones lips. No matter how well she worked it, she will never be accepted like the smaller models. Point Blank. Thats all there is to it. I love to model, but i have to do it in my own personal photo shoots. And believe me, I can tear it up! Ask that chica below me who can also tear it UP!!!!!!! HAHA. Anyway. Back to it. Oh and one more thing before i move on. The stores arent dumbing down styles like skinny jeans and leggings. I can ROCK the hell out of some skinny jeans AND leggings but you HAVE HAVE HAVE TO MAKE SURE YOU GET SOME THAT FIT YOU. It depends on your body type and if you’re getting the right size. Its up to the designers to make clothes that make us look good but its up to us to judge whether or not we need to be wearing it! Let’s get something that accentuates, compliments and FLATTERS our delicious CURVES! ok im done.

Nope not yet, the night club… I can dance all night by myself and not give a damn, but for once it would be nice to have a HANDSOME fella come and offer to buy us a drink. Since these brothas who LOVE thick women are sometimes a little bit TOO SHY to come up to us in a regular club because their boys will dog them out, I think it would be nice to have a plus size club. ESPECIALLY SINCE THOSE GUYS WHO WOULD DOG THEM OUT WOULD PROBABLY BE UP IN THE PLUS SIZE CLUB TOO! Don’t even front! I can party any where, but sometimes it would be nice to not feel like you have to “cut a b**ch) for looking at you the wrong way! haha

If you don’t want us to SQUEEZE then all the skinny people need to group together and give our BIG ASSES some damn room! What? Do you expect us to stand up? Hell naw! Now, firstly let me say that you as a woman should be ashamed of yourself.
A woman is a woman regardless of her appearance..rep..class or size.
I PERSONALY do not complain about who I am or about my size.. I embrace it. Why?
Because I am who I was intended to be. And i LOVE me.. All women are beautiful. Big ups to the skinny chicks.. FAT chicks.. full chested.. flat chested.. flat bootied, cottage cheese bootied.. fake tit and booty women, weavie wonders and fro rockin women.. be they whatever race they are.This is the problem amoungst women.. WE DONT ENCOURAGE one another.. we opt to pull each other down. Fat women are beautiful.. as are skinny women, but it is a social fact that we are not excepted in media or in the social eye (ie, why our section is always in the back). Because society has chosen to push us away from being excepted in the “general population”. Tell me about the last time you saw a big gurl rip the runway anywhere else besides on a BET program. NEVER! We cant go into Hot Topic, Vickie Secrets, or even JC Penny’s to find something. Oh, excuse me.. Penny’s does have “plus sized” clothing. IF you are down for looking like a granny or a picnic table cloth, then by all means BUY IT UP!! We didnt ask for population segregation. To most we arent appealing, therefore shoved into our own category. That’s why we deserve it dear.

Recently I review this authur notes a 2nd time and agree with on of the other person whom review the note completely. The note is also letting people know that unto some change is made for plus-size women, (playing field is leveled for all. The fight will continue to wage on) That is one of the reason I redirect my challege to Stores, Malls, Dr Office, Public places to get with the changes we’re here to stay)>
