It saddens me to see how Black men have heard that we are the source of all Black women’s problems for so long that some of us have seemingly acquiesced and accepted the blame! According to that line of thinking, there are no golddiggers. There are no women out there who pursue men solely on the basis of how many commas there are in their salary. No women have emotional baggage that keep them from forming meaningful relationships with good men. There just aren’t any good men! It’s not a woman’s fault when she “falls in love” with a married man who promised to leave his wife and kids but changed his mind later. Shame on that man for making his mistress that promise, and using her as his little side-piece concubine! After all, it’s our fault that so many women have bad attitudes, are loud-mouthed, and confrontational–all in an attempt to show the world that they’re “strong.” The ones that act this way, have to. What choice do they have, right? It’s all our fault because we make women commit adultery, have children out of wedlock, get pregnant by drug dealers, players, and guys who already have 10 children by 10 different women–none of whom are being supported by him. I mean, women are higher beings. They better than us guys, right Steve? Everything they do is just in response to what we’ve done to them, right? The stuff many of us go through in marriage, relationship, on the job, and even in church dealing with women is all in our heads, right? Dude, what planet are you living on?
