Some of us have been involved with a guy who was a true MVP-but not in the traditional sense. Instead of running down a field or throwing a ball, he’s the champion of (many) woman’s hearts. He’s the Most Valuable Playa-someone your mama warned you about but you just couldn’t stay away from. Here are some trademarks of the MVP:

1. Mass text messages: For some men, text messaging is the greatest thing since porn. Imagine this: having the ability to ask all your girls, at the same time, what they’re doing. Then it’s just a matter of narrowing down the honey dips to accommodate your schedule for the night.

2. Computer love: Ever looked at a crush’s facebook, myspace or blackplanet pictures and see pics of him and… seemingly every woman in America? MVP alert!

Do something constructive-update your lamps!

3. He identifies with Weezy: MVP’s are encouraged by Lil Wayne’s mission to, um, get it in with every “girl” in the world. Ask your own MVP how he feels about Weezy’s recent impregnation of Nivea AND Lauren London. Any kind of reaction along the lines of: “I gotta give it to him-dude’s amazing” is a MVP red flag.
